Yes, nobody can buy from your business if they don’t know your business exists in the first place. This may sound really obvious but if you think about that statement for a second, one realises that your first marketing priority is brand awareness. Ask yourself – are all my marketing activities going to increase the level of brand awareness in my target market?
If you are gaining lots of followers (and hence awareness) but many of them are not in your target market, you need to change your marketing activities to ensure that you first get a clear, detailed description of your target audience and then invest time and money in increasing brand awareness in that target market.
